Впрочем: Stereotypes of New York metropolitan speech also often draw on features such as r-lessness (for example, nawth or nawt for north or fought for fourth), the replacement of th with d and t (den for then or nuttin for nothing) and addition of an UH sound to the front a of words like bad (bAUHd).
